Anyone has/had Nexplanon? Any thing to say about it?

Mine just ran out and I’m actually looking to get it replaced. My first month with it was a bit crazy because my body reacted to the extra estrogen by mimicking pregnant symptoms (weird cravings, sleeping weird times of the day, moody, hungry). I would get these weird periods were it was more like brown sludge, but those didn’t happen very often. My experience with Nexplanon was actually really good. It beats having to remember to take a pill at the EXACT time everyday.

Yes, had it for three years, loved it. Will go right back on it when I’m done having babies.

I had it for three years. The first month I spotted non stop and then I didn’t have a period for months, in fact in the whole three years I maybe only had 3 periods. I personally didn’t have any complications and was able to get pregnant 8 months after my removal 💕 but remember everyone’s body is different and you won’t know what works until you try it
