I have mastitis for the second time I got it initially when my son was a couple weeks old. And now again at 10.5 months. This time is much worse than before I have a duct that is so inflamed and red and will not empty I’ve tried warm compresses, massaging it while he’s eats, massaging it while in a warm bath, switching his position while he’s feeding nothing has seemed to work. I’ve tried pumping in about a million positions and also I’m already on my fifth day of antibiotics and my doctor just keeps suggesting the same things I’m doing. I’m in so much pain. I’ve been taking ibruprofen 600 mg 3-4 times a day or else I get really feverish and achy.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
