The last 2 weeks haven't had a cervix check...last time I was checked when I seen my OB I was a fingertip dilated 50% effaced at 37 weeks...now my OB won't be back till next week and my due date is in 5 days! If I haven't went into labor on my own the nurse practitioner said I'll be induced around 40 weeks, should I speak with her about my induction and try to have a date set up...? I haven't had any contractions, no loss of mucus plug no bloody show or anything...my appointment is Thursday she said at my last OB appointment my doctor wouldn't let me get to 41 weeks...I'd be induced should I have a induction date set to be on the safe side just in case? Or would I have to wait till next week if I haven't had her by then to have it set up with my OB?
