Does anyone feel like this about their pregnancy?

I’m so happy to be pregnant, this will be my first after a miscarriage earlier this year but I feel like it’s not actually going to happen. If that makes sense? I’m almost 18 weeks and still think something will go wrong because I just cant picture myself with a baby. Is this normal?

It took until my son was a week or more old before it dawned on me that he was mine and healthy and I was a mother!

I feel the same way! Just had my 20 week scan and everything was fine and i was convinced it wouldn’t be. Can’t shake the feeling. 😢

I feel the exact same way.  I find myself using the word “if” a lot when talking about our baby girl not “when.”  I’m 18 weeks today and had always expected myself to be ecstatic when I finally got pregnant.   This pregnancy has been easy all things considered but my last one that ended at 10 weeks was petrifying from the start, and I’m starting to feel like pregnancy will always just be terrifying for me.  I keep telling myself I’ll let myself breathe after our 20 week scan (even if I have to force it), but we’ve got 2 weeks left before it.

I'm the same. I had a miscarriage in February this year, we aren't announcing to social media until after birth and none of our friends and some family even know yet. It's tough but taking each day at a time helps. I'm starting to feel more positive each day, but there will always be in the back of my mind every possible thing that could go wrong. But, we can't control what happens. I pray we all have a healthy rainbow baby in Feb 👶

Yeah. Im19 weeks today. I’m so over scared. I’m terrified even if the pregnancy goes well he could stop breathing at birth or have cot death. Just totally freaked out.

It took me a little after my oldest (earthly child) was born for it to feel real. He just turned 9 years old a few weeks ago and I'm pregnant with another reason baby. It's hard to not be fearful. I'm trying to connect now and sooner this time around. I'm lucky I have my son who keeps telling me it's gonna be ok because he is here!
