Should I trust my pills???

So I've been on Junel Fe birth control (yellow and one row of brown) pills for about six months now. My boyfriend finally wants to have sex without a condom or pulling out. I'm comfortable with it, I just dont know how much I should trust my birth control. He seems to think that we can trust it since I've been in it for a while. Am I just being paranoid? Is anyone else on this pill and can tell me exactly how it works?

When taken/used properly, hormonal birth control works in 3 ways; it stops ovulation, it thickens ur cervical mucus, and it thins ur uterine lining. And, with combination pills, like the brand ur taking, when taken properly/consistently, they’re 99.7% effective on their own. So, it’s completely up to u whether ur comfortable with that or not. If not, then continue to use condoms, pulling out, and/or u could also use spermicide for extra protection.

I’m on the same pill! This is my 3rd month on them and my boyfriend has came in me multiple times. As of right now, I’m not pregnant so I’m guessing it works lol
