So I have to be honest, I have felt myself thinking “things will be so much better when x,y or z is over” or “I can’t wait to get out of this phase”...wether it be the newborn phase or the lack of sleep or the oxygen or sickness. Not even just this season in my life, but practically every season I’m always looking for the next thing. But I came across this post today from @unsupermommy that challenged me so much...

She states “The next season isn’t our savior. Don’t put your hope in tomorrow. Jesus is our one sure foundation, He is the only rock that will never change. His blood shed on the cross brought you access to His power, which continually works within you. Reach out to God — He has called you to this battle and He waits to equip you to do it with godliness through His word. Stop right now, pray and repent of your sin — because the next season of your life won’t save you — only Jesus can.”
