Flu Shot?

What is everyone’s thought on the flu shot?

Injecting the flu along with other horrible toxins, not to mention aborted fetal tissue,  into my body is a big NO for me. The flu shot is a joke.
Instead of lowering my immune system I do things to boost it, with adequate vitamin D, probiotics, cutting out sugar and processed foods, drinking enough water and taking higher amounts of Vit C during “sick seasons”. Elderberry syrup and exercise is great too. As well as washing hands with natural soap and not unsung antibacterial soap or hand sanitizer.

It’s totally personal choice. For me, I couldn’t forgive myself if I didn’t get it and something went wrong which the vaccine could have prevented - that’s why I avoid unpasteurised cheese, too much caffeine etc as recommended.... just in case.

I work in a hospital and there is no way I’m not getting it. I don’t want to catch anything while I’m pregnant. Not taking any chances here!

I talked to my midwife about this a few days ago. I told her that the years I've gotten the flu shot, it makes me feel really weird and off for the rest of the day (sluggish and strange.) I know I didn't get the flu from the shot, lol, it just made me feel weird. So last year I didn't get it. I asked her recommendation. She asked me what I do for work and when I told her I work in an office, she said don't worry about getting it. She said if it makes me feel weird, there's no reason I should get it just because I'm pregnant. But if I worked in a preschool or something similar, she would recommend that I do get it. So I think it depends on your situation!

I got it with my first and never regretted it. I have already done it at 5 weeks.

I normally get it every year because it’s hospital policy now that everyone gets it or they will terminate us. Unless we have a written drs note, religion reasons or something like that. I’m opting out this year because I’m pregnant. But normally i get it because i have to in order to kee my job. Sucks huh?
