Blood glucose levels and fake tan
Hi all
Just seeing if anyone may of of had similar thing happen. So I just got diagnosed with GD at 32weeks following a repeat test after my 26 week GTT. I was under at 26 weeks but was borderline and just over at 32 weeks.
So I’ve been tracking and got my little
Machine and have been smashing my numbers. Got told at my follow up appointment that I had lost weight and I actually wasn’t getting enough carbs (go figure). I experimented with dinner and had a whole jacket potato (as directed) and one and half smallish pieces of crumbed fish.
Now I’ve had a potato other nights and been fine but tonight I had my first real spike. Like 7.7 when it should be under 6.7. My highest reading to date has only been 6.3. Now tonight I have also applied fake tan.
Now am I clutching at straws here as I’m desperate to believe that I can manage this in my own. Could it be the fake tan ?
Anyone else’s experiences would be great 👍
