Shall I tell???

Question

Had my scan yesterday and we have a perfect little bean & heartbeat, the question now is when do I tell my other babies?? I’m 6weeks 5 days and could scream from the roof tops but also scared something still could go wrong and I’d have to break the bad news to my boys?? Am I just being a negative nelly???

We’ve been openly talking about it in front of our four year old but haven’t “told him” at this point - mostly because he hasn’t asked. I plan to tell him next Tuesday morning before our first ultrasound because he’s coming with us to it. I’ll probably say something like “we think there might be a baby in my belly so we are going to the doctor today to find out if that’s true or not.” Then depending on how things go we will explain to him the rest in simple terms.
I don’t keep secrets from him and I don’t keep “heavy” stuff from him - I take a very Mr Rogers approach :) I believe kids shouldn’t be talked down to and they should be involved. If we have a loss I want him to know and to give him an opportunity to ask questions. It’s his sibling - I believe siblings should be involved from the start regardless of the outcome.

I would maybe wait a little while longer. I know how excited you are (and I do not want to scare you in any way), but I heard the heart beat at 7 weeks and it was no longer beating by 8 weeks. 
Especially since you have little ones I would maybe wait a little longer before announcing. I know everyone is different and this has just been my experience. 
I did however read about how someone told her kids and told them they had to continue to pray that the baby stays in there and doesn’t go to heaven. Not sure how old your kids are or if you are religious.

I’m the same way. Dying to tell
My other 4, but also don’t want to break their hearts if something happens. I’m 7 weeks today and saw our heartbeat last week. I go in the 9th for another ultrasound. Think I’ll wait til then and then tell them!!!
