Flu shot while pregnant?

I’ve been a hairstylist working with many people a day for over 10 years and I’ve never gotten the flu shot. I am very adamant on washing my hands very often and not touching my face. Jw what everyone’s take on this is.

The flu shot has not been tested to see how a growing baby handles it in utero. I would not get the flu shot and I never have. As a teacher, I watch as every year students get the flu shot and then get the flu. And I don’t.

Always, always get the flu shot. Anyone who says it makes you sick is incorrect. Even more important when you’re pregnant. My OB recommended it during my first visit.

Always get it, it’s recommmended whilst pregnant as if you do get the flu it’s dangerous based  on the little flu meds you can safely take to treat without harming baby

Get it. if you get the flu, it can cause severe issues with the baby including death. Even if it doesnt protect against all strains, it protects against some whoch lowers your chances of getting it.

I have an autoimmune disease and an in the population that could die from severe flu.  I don’t want to die so I always always always get the flu shot.  Hubby has to get it too.  The shot cannot give you the flu.   And even if it doesn’t cover all strains, it will make symptoms less severe and you will recover quicker.

I have to get it regarless if I want it or not. I’m a nurse so if I don’t want to wear a face mask all day at work I have to get the shot 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m getting it for my baby. We do so many other things to protect this baby... why would a flu shot be any different? The flu can be very dangerous for the baby. I usually don’t get it, but it’s not about me anymore.
