When do you consider “safe”?

Question

Coming from a first time mom, 2 pregnancy after mc earlier this year. We just had US at ~10 weeks and everything looks good (what a relief!) and the doctor says our risk of mc drops to 5%. 
BUT...when did you feel “out of the woods”? I mean something could still happen right? How can I not worry? 
Will have another US in 2 weeks for Down syndrome test so at least I get another confirmation but I’m just SO WORRIED!

I don’t think I’ll feel out of the woods until I’m holding a baby. We’ve had so many losses and at this point I just cannot imagine or picture myself with a baby at all.

I consider “safe” after 8 weeks and wouldn’t even worry after that. But that’s just me :)

I consistently found something new to worry about. Unfortunately things can happen at any point although it becomes far less likely after the first trimester. Now that she’s here, I still worry about something happening to her. I think its just part of being a mom and loving these little humans beyond measure.
