Birth control fail

I’m 16 and I’ve been wanting to get on birth control for some time now, so today I came to the doctors to get a vaccine and ask the doctor for birth control in the meantime.... I told my mom to wait outside cause I didn’t feel comfortable talking about it with her in the room but the doctor who saw me today made me feel really uncomfortable about the whole thing, I felt like she was judging me and she told me she wouldn’t put me on BC without having a conversation with mother which really defeated the whole purpose. I know that where I live I don’t need my mothers consent to get on birth control so I’m just very upset because the OBGYN is the only other option I have to get birth control and since I’m 16 they won’t see me without my mom
