Possible IUD problems!

I think my IUD is displaced, I’ve got an appointment tomorrow morning. But I’ve been experiencing pink discharge and cramps for about two weeks now. And after some sexy time, I was very sore and crampy. I went to check my strings and they’re much much shorter than they were. And my cervix feels very soft? I’m concerned and def mentioning it tomorrow. But if you had a failed iud what did you use for birth control after? Bonus points for breast feeding friendly box!
