I've been wanting a tattoo for a very long time and I want my first one to mean something (I know that tattoos don't have to have meaning but I want mine to have meaning). My grandfather passed away when I was in 3rd grade and it hit me hard. He loved gardening and his favorite flower was pansies.

I've been thinking about getting a pansy tattoo, in memory of my grandfather, when I turn 18. I was thinking about a watercolor tattoo because I'm an artist and a painter, so that would also be a nice way to commemorate my passion.

What do you guys think? Where should get my tattoo placed? I found this watercolor tattoo and I'm thinking about getting something SIMILAR. I am not going to copy someone's tattoo, I want something related to it.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I'm going to school for elementary education, so the placement needs to be something that can be easily hidden. And I realize that some teachers have visible tattoos but I'd prefer it to be slightly hidden in case future employers don't approve of tattoos
