Diclegis has anyone taken it?

It was prescribed to me for morning sickness. I’m just so worried about side effects. They said it’s safe but just curious about other peoples experiences

I take it and was the best thing the doctor could have ever gave me. It really is a life saver if you have horrible morning sickness.

It is amazing, I had no side effects with it. Before I took it I was throwing up 40-60 times a day and was able to get it down closer to 15 times a day. Obviously made a big difference for me.

My OB had a short list of 3ish other meds she wanted me to try first. She said there are some studies that may indicate a very small portion of defects from diclegis...however she said most babies are just fine and the defects could be related to other things and not the med.

I took it my whole pregnancy with my son and he was fine

It did nothing for me other than make me more tired. Studies have shown that it’s really not much more effective than a placebo so 🤷🏼‍♀️
