Period confusion

Alright ladies. Here’s a doozy. My husband and I are trying to have a kid. I’m tracking my period and both of mine were late by 5-7 days. I took a pregnancy test two times it came up negative. Today I saw a little bit of blood and then no more. Could I be pregnant or am o grasping for hopeful straws.
