I just need to voice this....!!!!

I just need to voice this as it isn’t sitting well with me.

Me and my partner miscarried in May, and have been TTC since. It was a very sad time and hit us both hard.

After a bit of time out - this month we really committed to it and worked really hard with our dates etc.

I then developed a bladder infection (at 2 DPO & period due in approx 7-9 days) so I went to see my GP.

He took a urine sample and also did a pregnancy test whilst there - even though I said surely it’s too soon to detect as I only ovulated 2 days ago. He made no comment, then after the test was complete went ‘oh well, nothing here - better luck next time!’

Am I wrong being really shocked by this lack of empathy for my situation?

And was it too soon to tell?

I was an emotional wreck on the way back to work.
