If you are or have taken it, did it help your depression and/or anxiety? My doctor prescribed it to me. I took the first one last night and it seems to be helping a lot. I just want to know others’ experience with it.

Hi there! I’m a pharmacy student. It takes 4-6 weeks for the medicine to REALLY start working. We don’t know why it takes that long, but it does! There is another medication called Lexapro. It’s very similar and considered to be a little bit “cleaner” version! Either way, stick with it for at least two months and see how you feel!

I'm on the generic version and it helps with my anxiety. Been on it for quite a few years. No side effects

I took it for 3 years, and I got my life back! No side effects!

Works well for me! Currently taking 20mg for Panic Disorder and some general anxiety. Considering upping to 30mg but giving it more time.
