way to increase chances of conceiving a girl ?
i’m not planning on having kids at the moment but lately my boyfriend and i have been talking about our future family and i’ve just been thinking about my future a lot anyways.
i’ve always just really wanted a baby girl, i’ve explained to people before that if i had all girls and never had a son i’d be ok, but if i just had all boys i’d be sad about never having a daughter. and i’ve always had just this gut feeling that i would have a lot of boys when i start having kids, and if my first child is a girl, then i don’t really care what comes after that whether it be a boy or more girls.
also, this may seem really extra and unnecessary to a lot of people but my best friend and i have always wanted to have at least our first kid around the same time so we could be pregnant together and we’d always hoped we’d both have daughters so we can just be a big happy mommy daughter best friend group and have mommy daughter dates together.
ive read that if you have in vitro fertilization you could choose the gender of your child, but my boyfriend said if we can conceive a kid naturally then he doesn’t want to do it by IVF and he doesn’t want to manipulate it into being anything, which i understand. and i was trying to tell him i’d be disappointed if our first kid was a boy, because i don’t want to feel like i keep trying for more kids just so i’ll have a daughter, i just want to have more kids because i want more not because i’m trying to have a girl, and i only plan to have two, three max so i only get so many chances. he kind of took it as i’d resent my son if i had one which isn’t the case at all, just like i said i really want at least one daughter so if i had a baby girl the first time i don’t care about the gender of any baby i have after that.
are there any tricks or natural ways to conceive a girl? i’ve read that trying to conceive a few days before ovulation could work because most male sperm would die off, but i’m interested in hearing all of the strategies
