Breastfeed your baby in the back seat while your s/o drove? Not saying I would but I'm curious to see

Unless I'm leaning into his car seat that he's secured in, while still wearing my seat belt.
That's hella tricky though, and easier to just park and nurse.

I often do, I sit in the middle of the back seat and lean over her car seat....it's difficult for sure but I have big boobs so that helps 😂

I fed her as I leaned over her seat. She was buckled, I would never hold her and feed her while he drives. I let her nurse just enough to calm her down until we got home. I not gonna lie...it was not easy

No, it is incredibly dangerous. And even with baby in his/her car seat, if the car is in an accident, can you imagine the force of mom’s weight into the baby‘s face? Pull into a rest stop parking lot.

My SIL tried telling me it was legal (which it may be, but I doubt) to have baby out of car seat if you’re feeding them when my niece was a baby. I went full crazy aunt bear (is that a thing lol ) on her & told her idc if it’s “legal” it’s stupid & dangerous & if I found out she was doing that with my niece I’d kick her butt!

I’ve done it. We were on our way home from Ludington, Mi - which is an hour and a half from my house- baby boy was hungry and cranky. We were 30 minutes away from home, there were no rest areas and we did not want to pull over on the highway. So, I said “Fuck it...” and took him out of his car seat and breastfed while driving.

Nope. I used to pump in the car and then hop in the back and give her a bottle on long trips. I've heard of some ladies hovering over the car seat to nurse, but that sounds pretty tricky.
