Would you have offered to pay for the groceries?

I was in line buying my weekly grocery list and there was an older woman in front of me, probably late 60’s or early 70’s. She probably had about 10 items. She didn’t really know how to use the card reader so it took her a few times and then the cashier said the card isn’t working. He asked if she had a other card, she said no with a very bad attitude. She tried again, the cashier asked if she had cash. Again, she was rude and said “no, what am I supposed to do”. Such a bad attitude. The cashier called the manager over and she told the woman to call her bank. They held her stuff to the side while she called. This entire time I was debating in my head if i should offer to pay for It. The only reason I did not was because she came off so rude to the cashier and the manager. I believe you treat people how you would like to be treated and I don’t think she did that. Of course that was frustrating for her, I get It. I wouldn’t treat someone like that though. Now I am questioning myself though cause I did feel bad 😢
