Opinionated mother

I never expected this from my mom.. 100% from my mother in law but itsbeen completely opposite.

Everything I plan on doing my mom complains about. I honestly dread telling her stuff.

Examples:

I plan to cloth diaper. My mother in law said “wow I tried that before and it was awful.” I told her how cloth has changed now showed her some new diapers and she fell in love. It literally look 5 minutes. I told my mom months ago before even becoming pregnant and she still harasses me about it. I bought a diaper I’ve really been wanting for a while but is pretty expensive ($25) just to show my mom how really different cloth is now and she was so upset saying she could of bought 5 bags of diapers with coupons for that(which is true. We are couponers) but it’s MY baby and MY money. She harasses me constantly saying she’s going to keep a stick pile at her house for while I fail.

I plan to breastfeed(hopefully 🤞🏻) and my mom said “oh no youregonna hate that. It’s too much work” “how can I baby sit??”

And i wasnt planning on bottle feeding but after all the harassment I’ve just decided bottle and breast is okay.

Where the baby is going to sleep is an issue with her too.

It’s been rough and I’m only 5 weeks. I cant imagine later and when the baby is actually here. I’ve told her it’s my baby and my choice but she just doesn’t back off.
