Anyone else not introduce a bottle to their LO yet?

EBF and I’ve been hesitant on giving her a bottle.. I’m a SAHM so I don’t exactly need to. And cleaning pump parts and bottle parts just seems like a lot of work to me.

Why the hesitation? I would personally introduce it and bottle feed every now and then so if you want a day out or night out without babe, there won’t be any issues. Or god forbid something happens to you, babe should be able to take a bottle. Or you could have your partner do one of the night feeds with a bottle every now and then. Just some thoughts! Not saying either way is better. I just know I felt comfort in knowing my kid WILL take a bottle if needed.

We tried once or twice and it didn’t go amazingly well. I’m on maternity leave til April and my husband can syringe feed in a pinch so I haven’t tried again recently

Offer one once or twice a week. Just in case you have to be away for whatever reason the baby should be able to take a bottle and you should have breastmilk stocked for him for emergency at least.

My daughter gets a bottle like twice a week. Usually when I want a night off and I have some drinks so my husband is on baby duty. So he does all the feedings.
Mostly we stick to he’s Bottle and I’m boob. To try and not confuse her lol
