So about two or three days ago, I noticed that the skin near my vulva was really irritated. It was slightly red, felt like a friction burn, and hurt when I touched it. The skin also felt just a little bit raw I think. It felt better yesterday and this morning, but a thin layer of dry skin formed. The dry skin easily comes off, but it hurts a little bit if I touch it after the skin came off.

I haven’t had sex since a day or two before I noticed it, so I don’t think it’s a friction thing. I do shave there, so I thought maybe I was just too careless the last time I shaved. But I thought getting a second opinion might be a good idea. Has this happened to any of you?
