One month old bleeding from vagina?

It was only a bit and then it stopped. Could I have wiped her too hard?? I don’t understand why that happened. 
Also what is the little red tab poking out of the bottom of her vagina opening? I don’t have pics for her posterity but do you know what I’m talking about?

Sometimes newborn girls bleed a little due to extra hormones. Everything sounds completely normal to me, but if you’re feeling uneasy, make an appointment with her pedi.

My baby girl had a period type bleed for ages after she was born it’s a Reaction to your hormones, I’m not sure what the “red tab” you’re talking about is though

A lot of times girls will have alittle “bleeding” and sometimes will have swollen boobs from all the hormones left over from you.

Call her dr and ask but I know my LO has some discharge from my leftover hormones.

Maybe need to take her to doctor. I know when i was born i didnt have a hole my mom had to put cream on it for a year.
