Carrying groceries?!

I am almost 6 weeks pregnant with my first baby so I am a little worried about everything! Lol I live on a third floor apartment (3 flights of stairs). Is it safe for me to carry up groceries as long as I take it slow & don’t carry too many at once? I am used to carrying things up these stairs since we’ve lived here for over 2 years. I just don’t want to do anything that would potentially hurt the baby! Thanks!

You can keep doing what you were doing prepregnancy. I carry groceries and my 13 month old at same.time and im 23 weeks pregnannt

Take it slow and don’t carry too much at one time ❤️ I had the same issue with my first it got harder as I got bigger but it’s possible! Just don’t strain yourself (:

I also live on the 3rd floor, currently 26weeks and I still bring groceries up, I bag them in those big ikea bags and take my time, if my husband is home he will meet me down stairs and get most of the groceries and I’ll just carry 1 or 2 light bags up.

We load our groceries in a laundry basket and each take a side to carry it up. I may be spoiled but will probably have groceries delivered on occasion when baby is born because the thought of an infant carrier, groceries and living on 3rd floor in winter is a no go for me
