Hey Glowing Ladies 👋🏻

So back in Feb my OB/GYN told me to come back after 6mos of trying if I wasn’t pregnant yet...

I’m 36 & Husband is 37 and we’ve been off BCP since March and Actively TTC Our First since May (About 5mos) with No Luck 👎🏻☹️

Well... I just got AF this morning and I was SO emotional and saddened 😔😥 (I totally didn’t expect to get so upset, like Full on tears a fallin’) but I really thought This was our month! The first few months we were more casually trying bc I thought it would happen right away, but now We’ve Definitely gotten very Serious about TTC the last 3months doing OPKs & Pre-seed and BDing at least 4-5days in fertile window.

My cycle is pretty normal with an Avg of 28days with Normal Follicular and Luteal phase ranges. I also get an LH spike exactly on the days I’m supposed to be ovulating according to Calendar. But Also, neither one of us has ever been pregnant before, so we have no idea if our stuff works Lol (or if there could be other issues?)

We had originally planned on making an appt in Nov after one more cycle of trying but my Question is:

Do you think we should just make an Appt w/OBGyn this month or wait another month or two???

My Husband said to go ahead and make the Appt bc what’s one more month difference, but I don’t want to feel silly like I’m jumping the gun, or overthinking but I’m also worried about my age and wasting time..?? This TTC business is definitely more difficult than I expected it to be.

Any advice from anyone or those over 35??
