So I’ve had an uptick in headaches this pregnancy, but I feel like I’ve had a constant headache for the last three days. It’s usually mildly annoying and Tylenol takes it away (I have a toddler and can’t afford to ride it out). I took Tylenol yesterday morning and everything was fine. Headache started coming back in the afternoon but came and went. But yesterday evening I developed the strangest headache I’ve ever had.

It’s a sharp pain right behind my left ear, and the pain radiates behind my eyes and sometimes down to my nose. The pain trails down my neck almost like the pain in my neck is causing the headache. I took Tylenol at three in the morning and the headache went away and I was left with a sore neck. By time I woke up it had returned and I took more Tylenol. The headache went away mostly but the neck still hurt. A heating pad felt good but didn’t necessarily help. I then sneezed and oh my goodness it felt like a pulled a muscle in my scalp. The headache/migraine is now returning and I really don’t want to take Tylenol yet again.

Has anyone had a similar headache? I don’t think it’s pregnancy related but more neck related, but I’m guessing no one will want to see me because I am pregnant. I’m debating going to l&d and having them refer me somewhere if it doesn’t let up tomorrow.
