Sex after D&C

Hello!

I miscarried at 18 weeks 3 weeks ago. I had to be induced and did labor at the hospital. Friday I had to have a D&C to get rid of some tissue. I’m thinking with symptoms and test I will ovulate either Wednesday or Thursday (negative pregnancy test). My doctor said sex was fine but reading seems its NOT okay. Anyone have advice? I will be sad to miss this window😰
