Does anybody have any experience or knowledge on freckles in the eye? During my eye exam today my doctor was very concerned about a freckle close to my optic nerve. He said that it doesn’t look typical. It has raised elevation and is orange in color. After he took a look he brought in three other doctors to take a look and they were all concerned. He told me I have to go see a retinal specialist immediately.

When I got home I googled this and it said something about flashes in the eyesight when there’s issues with the optic nerve. I realized that I totally forgot to mention to my doctor that I’ve been having flashes of light in my peripheral vision every once in awhile. Should I call him back in the morning and let him know? I can’t believe I forgot about it.

I’m just so worried. I feel like I’ve been riddled with health issues lately and my dad is sick too.

I just posted earlier about how he’s being tested for having difficulty swallowing while eating. We’re still waiting on the results of his CT scan.
