I'm a mother of 5 and had a miscarriage in June. We also just found out we are pregnant again.
With my older children only two pregnancies were actually charted for (the other two were planned but happened very quickly so didn't even start charting)
The 2 pregnancies that happened quickly I tested when o realized my period hadn't arrived so about 15dpo. The 2 that were charted for I started testing at 8dpo crazy lady I am.. didn't get a positive with the first one til 13dpo and the second at 11dpo.
With our baby we miscarried we had started trying in July 2017 but didn't become pregnant until April 2018. Each cycle for the first 6 I would test from 8dpo and drove my husband insane. He ended up making me promise not to test until 10dpo... so with our miscarried baby I started testing at 10dpo and got a very very faint shadow line confirmed with first response at 11dpo.
With our current baby I tested at 10dpo and didn't really see anything (though looking at the test on 11dpo there was a vvvvfl) tested again 11dpo and caught a shadow line on two different tests - put up a pill on here and 78% who voted saw it too, tested again with a less sensitive first response rapid results and got a good line at 12dpo

You’re much better off waiting until you miss your period. The test will be most accurate that way.
