I went into the ER on the 23 of September for some spotting. They took an ultra sound, the spotting had stopped, and told me my baby was measuring 6 weeks and a day but they were unable to find a heartbeat. I went to see my Dr the following Tuesday amd they took some bloodwork. Went in again the following Thursday for more blood work and was told that I was having a miscarriage because my levels had dropped from 23,000 to just about 20,000. She then decided to do another ultrasound the next day. The results from that were the same as the ultrasound done by the ER 5 days prior. I took 3 tablets of Misoprostol at 200 mcg each that Friday at 4. Had some cramping but only old blood, not a large amount and then nothing. I don't know why but I am worried that my miscarriage has be misdiagnosed? I see my dr tomorrow and I don't know what I should ask them to do. I just need to be sure before I take anything else.
