I love the name Forrest for a boy but I can’t shake the feeling that he will constantly be made fun of over the movie Forrest Gump. Thoughts?

It's a cool name. I'm convinced no matter what, other kids will find a way to make fun of any name, whether it's your last name, whatever. They FIND a way. So if you really like it, use it.
Also you could give him a middle name that he could use for school if he prefers

Forrest Gump is a great, kind, amazing character who cared about people. If kids actually even know who that is, (which is very doubtful), they wouldn't make fun of him! (Except maybe telling him to run... but at least he'll be in shape 😉)

Kids are mean, they will pick on you for anything because that's just what they do, if it's not your name it will do looks, if not looks it will be family ect... Honestly you should pick a name you both like when you see baby and love it x
