Late 5 days and VERY LIGHT spotting (brown color)

Hey all

I need help!! I’m 5 days late and I’ve been spotting here and there. Color is dark brown color. Been ttc since February and wondering if I should wait longer because I don’t want to see a BFN has this happened to anyone ? Should I take a test or wait longer
