Still taking ibuprofen at 5.5wks postpartum

Is anyone else still having pain? I feel like I was kicked down there and it's bruised or something. I had only internal tearing and I feel like it hurts where the stitches were. I have tried not taking ibuprofen but then I get so sore and it's uncomfortable to sit or stand for too long. I have an appointment to see my doctor on Friday, but just wondering if anyone else is going through this? Does anything help?
