Severe sciatic nerve pain anyone???

Has anyone had sciatic nerve pain in the 2nd trimester? I have been experiencing the most painful hip and leg pain. I know that the relaxin hormone can affect your hip bones. It’s a shooting pain on my
Left side originating in the hip and shooting down to my knee. I am looking for relief! I have tried heat, stretching and rest with no relief! Help please!!!

With my first I had this the last 4weeks of my pregnancy omg the pain in my leg n hip I was crying everyday. My son was layin directly on my sciatic nerve. I remember buying heat patches that my gyn said was completely safe. Homeopathic remedy. I worked for me sooooooooooo well. Hope this helps .

Me too; I had sciatica years ago and it went away, but the pregnancy seems to be bringing it back!

I would suggest stretching and epsom salt baths I was have nerve pain for about 3 weeks between week 10,11,12 and that helped me A LOT. Before I did that I almost felt like I couldn’t walk. My OB also suggested Tylenol.

Yes I finally got over this recently. I found that taking walks as well as doing yoga stretches (like cat cows, childs pose- just search “yoga stretches for sciatica) really helped me. I also used heat press. It took a couple of weeks but it’s gone now! Good luck!
