HSG: OBGYN v Reproductive Endocrinologist
Any thoughts on having the HSG test done by my regular OBGYN v. a specialist (Reproductive Endocrinologist)? Cost aside, I’m wondering if there’s any clinical benefit to having the RE do it (e.g. more experience, expertise in reading the results, etc.). The only thing I can think of so far is that if I have the RE do it and the results indicate a problem, the RE will already have all my records so it’ll be easier to move forward.
