PCOS? Breakthrough bleeding now no period very irregular

I’m supposed to have PCOS but there isn’t any test that was done on me to tell and I have been having irregular periods since I got off the pill last February. I recently had a period at the very end of August and a bad spell of breakthrough bleeding in the middle of September a few days to a week before I was supposed to start. So I don’t know how to chart it correctly?! Help?
