To pump or not to pump...

That is the question!!!

Daughter is 12.5 mos now so I made it to my 1yr goal!!! 🎉🎉🎉 and I have started to wean. Over the past few weeks I cutback to nursing her only 3x a day (from 6) and she’s doing great!

730am

230pm

730pm

Those are roughly the times she nurses. Rest of the day she gets sippys of milk. Wake up, before afternoon nap, before bed she nurses. However I still have been pumping at about 12am before going to bed. But it has significantly dropped from 3-4oz to 1/4-1/2oz!!! Insane. Also I’m 10 weeks pregnant. So I’m sure that’s part of it.

Question is should my next logical step be to stop pumping before bed. Honestly it seems like a waste. That’s all I get after 20min. And I’m exhausted and would love to go to bed at like 10pm to try and get some sleep before this next baby comes lol. I’ve always pumped just before bed though cause 730pm-730am is SO long to go. But at this point does it really matter. Would my sleep be more beneficial to me, my daughter and new baby?

Thanks!!
