Mastitis?

I have a bruised throbbing feeling in my right breast in one place. Otherwise feeling ok, doesn’t seem red but does feel slightly hard to the touch. LO has fed from it fine so I know it’s not engorged. Could this be mastitis??

Massage it when you nurse especially from that side to try to work it out. Mastitis is the worst and so painful.

Could be... but that’s normally how I feel if I have a clogged duct.

I had Mastitis, my right nipple hurt so bad I cried every time the baby latched. Then I started getting red streaks on my breast in the inner bottom left quadrant and it became feverish.
Definitely keep an eye out for those symptoms. It could just be a clogged duct, but if you suspect and infection don’t be foolish like I did and wait until you’re in unbearable pain. In my defense, I didn’t know infections even happened so I just assumed it was because I was doing something wrong and the baby wasn’t latching properly until the streaks showed up.
