Any advice?

Ch

My husband and I have been married less than two months and we went to see a fertility doc already because of my age (36) and wanted to see what the chances are/what's ahead for us. His testing turned out fine but yesterday I found out I have uterine polyps and high estrodial and other low numbers that aren't fantastic. They are still optimistic we can conceive but the first step is to get polyps removed. I am waiting for surgery scheduling to call me, and in the meantime they put me on birth control to make the lining thinner and polyps easier to see when they do the surgery. Then I can come off of it. In the meantime I am so nauseated and not doing well with starting birth control. I knew I wouldn't be feeling well because this is the exact reason I never took it, but now I have to get through this somehow. Does anyone have any advice how to keep food down and feel less awful while my body is getting used to birth control? I'm eating saltines and Pepto is not working and I can't stay in bed every day until surgery. 😢
