Yes! On my 5 week 5 day US you could see a perfect yolk sac but no baby. At 6 weeks 2 days you could see the fetal pole right away!

it is ok before 6 weeks to not see anything other than a sac my ultrasound was at 5 weeks 3 days and they only seen a sac then at 6 weeks 1 day we heard the heartbeat but definitely make sure you go for your follow up bc you're actually from your last period supposed to be over 7 weeks but if your periods are irregular you could've ovulated late so I wouldn't worry too much (I know easier said than done) good luck sweetie I'm praying for you

It’s not normal to not see a foetal pole as that’s essentially the embryo. However it is probably normal to not be able to spot it at 5 weeks as it’s so early. Scans before 10 weeks are not recommended for safety reasons and because you don’t see a lot unless of course it’s because you have had bleeding etc that needs to be checked out in which case the benefit outweighs the risk. It’s probably a good idea to ask your doctor what that report means. It’s probably just that it’s too early to scan but they will give you an accurate answer x
