Why do people Judge so much 😡😡😡

Just need a rant. I am sick of the look I get when I tell people I am having an elective c section. I have a really bad fear of giving birth I have been to classes to try and get over my fear but just can’t do it.I have had a couple of panic attack thinking about giving birth. It Doesn’t make me any less of a women if I have a c section. I have still carried my child for 9 month. It doesn’t  matter how your baby comes into this world as long as it’s happy and healthy.
Just wish people wouldn’t judge so much it is my body and my life

It’s human nature to judge.  Stop telling people if you don’t like the reaction you’re getting.  It’s literally no one’s business but yours.

Maybe bc you’re choosing a major surgery that has a brutal healing process? Our bodies are made for vaginal births it’s nothing to fear. A c section will be so much worse

As long as the baby is healthy. I’m personally petrified about having a c section if I needed one. It’s a major surgery with a much longer recovery time. They’re cutting through muscle too 😬

If it gives you massive anxiety to think of natural birth then that's awful for you.  I would never judge someone for needing a caesar.  It's your body.  If you are that scared of vaginal birth and you try to do it you could develop ptsd afterwards.

Do what you think you think is right for you and baby. After all, it is your body and your health involved. Only thing I’d say is that c sections tend to be harder to recover from. The only real difference between the two that is of consequence to you is the pain involved. C sections require anesthetic, and vaginal deliveries do not. So why not get a epidural?  That way, you don’t have to experience the excruciating pain, and concentrate of giving birth. And less recovery time. I did and it was the best decision of my life. But honestly, if you feel a c section is right for you then go for it.

yeeees!! when people ask me, i sometimes just don’t answer because i’m so tired of the looks 😒 even when i explain that i can’t give birth naturally. they just don’t understand that we still go through the pain, we’re not any less or different 🤦🏻‍♀️

It’s definitely your choice and it doesn’t make you any less of a woman/mom to have a c-section if you want one. However, speaking from someone who had to have an emergency c-section after going through a normal pregnancy, labor, pushing, etc., I can tell you that a c-section is much scarier than a vaginal delivery. Contractions and pushing were a breeze compared to the torturous recovery time from the c-section. Something to think about. When you’re actually in labor you’ll be SO excited to meet that baby that you won’t even think about what is happening to your body, and your hormones take over to make you fearless!

I mean, no judgement here is you're really wanting to have major painful abdominal surgery that takes weeks to heal as opposed to a vaginal birth. Stop telling people if you don't want anyone to say anything
