Important question!
Hi there,
So, about two and a half weeks ago I started a medication to prevent migraines, but my doctor didn't inform me that it interferes with some forms of birth control.
Conveniently, the kind that I am on.
My husband and I normally have sex 2-3 times a week and my period is three days late. I've also had that "stringy," "milk white" discharge I keep hearing about, and the worst nausea. However, I took a first response early pregnancy test today and the two that had come in the box came out negative. The medication is also known to throw off menstrual cycles.
I suppose since I can't exactly pinpoint a specific date of intercourse, I'm curious if I took the test too early, or if there are any more symptoms I should look for as well. I will say that I have had a lot of cramping in addition to the discharge, but no period yet. I can honestly say that if I were pregnant, it'd be at least two weeks max. Thanks for your help!
