Second iui doctor did not predict surge
We did our first iui with the same doctor. Because my follicle size was 17 mm yesterday and I only triggered at 19 mm last cycle and the follicle scans over the last few days only showed slow progression, he didn’t think I would get my surge until Monday. Well, I got my surge this morning (Saturday) confirmed by a urine test. Still, he wasn’t certain of the levels and I did a blood test which confirmed my levels are high and I will ovulate tomorrow, and he said they were high enough that even if I do my urine test tomorrow I will no longer have the surge. The recommendation is to do the iui procedure tomorrow. I’m concerned because I’m scared the timing will be messed up as I was just hoping to get a trigger to control the timing. I have no idea when my surge started and when I will ovulate. Are my concerns valid?
