Boys with long hair ??

My 3 year olds hair is growing longer each day. I love the long hair look for boys but alot of people mistake him for a girl (even in head to toe blue) lol. Anyone else havs boys with long hair?? Do you plan to cut it?

My dude is also 3 and long hair. I do not plan on cutting it. I 100% correct people when they call him a girl though. I hate the "oh well he has long hair" comments. Like "yes bitch he does! Men can have long hair. Hes 3! Leave him alone."

Maybe do something like that to make it more “masculine” so that way he doesnt her mistakes for a girl. Just so a fade up the sides and then leave the length on top. I think this is sooooo cute!

We are on the same boat, my son constantly gets confused for a girl i don’t understand why when he’s so boyish and i even dress him in obvious boy clothing ughh it’s so annoyin but people say it’s because of his lashes and hair that makes him seem like a girl 🙄🙄

I think some of it has to do with more gender norms going away. Lots of baby girl clothes is going grey and blue. More parents are dressing their daughters in boyish clothing, like Tom boy. I think clothing has become a poor gender indicator these days so maybe more people go with face and hair styles. For example: long hair, bows, braids, earrings = girl and short hair, spikey/Mohawk , buzz cut= boy
Baby/toddler/small children faces all look similar and I've heard testosterone makes eye lashes longer/thicker. I'm all for changing the norm! But, I cut my son's at 7 months because it was tangling and he was a sweaty sleeper. Born with thick long hair too and I got shit for not waiting the year.. but do whatever is right for you and what ever style you want. You're gonna get hell either way so do you.

i think it's so cute. my nephews 1 and he has curly hair which my sister plans to let grow long. hes been mistaken for a wee girl lots aswell. i love his curls tho

My son is only 9 months old and his hair goes down to the middle of his shoulder blades when its wet then it curls up as it dries and creates little side horns 😂😂
