Hi. I’m Kimberly and a 25-year old amputee. I have a double amputation of my both arms below the elbow and both legs below the knee. My boyfriend and I are 4 years together and are trying to conceive. I really want to be a mommy but I’m terrified I won’t be able to take care of my own baby. People always said that I wouldn’t be able to do things like go to school, drive a car, go to work full time,... All of those things worked out just fine. I don’t know what to expect from a first pregnancy on prosthetics. Tips and tricks from amputee moms and dads would be very helpful for me to have an idea what to expect 💕.
