What nursing skill(s) do you guys struggle with and how did you go about working on those nursing skills?

I'm a first year Nursing student and I'm doing pulse and I can't seem to ever get a good reading and I'm nervous af because I know this is a fundamental skill. Do you guys know any tips or tricks? I know practicing will help and that's what I'm doing but I just feel like I'm so in my head and I don't apply continuous pressure
