and the last time was HORRIBLE. My obgyn said “oh I will just do it for you and save you money”, and of course after trying for 2 years and finding out we needed a sperm donor, I was all for it because he was so confident. Well he didn’t track ANYTHING and told me to call him when I ovulated and he would inseminate me. It ended up not working so I went to a fertility specialist. This time I took 100mg of Clomid for 5 days, I’ve been on 500mg metformin for 3 months, and then I did 10,000U of the Novarel shot on 10/2 (last Tuesday night). After the clomid and right before my shot I had a 16.5mm follicle in the right ovary and a 18.5mm follicle in the left ovary. He said by the time I took my shot they would increase by about 1.5mm. I’ve never had to be tracked like this before so has anyone had a similar experience with positive results? I have no issues with getting pregnant, we just had a male factor infertility. Also how long does it take for the trigger shot to fade out? I’m 5 days post shot and still getting a positive (I was trying to test it out but not sure what day I should expect it to go). Thanks! :)
