Would she be in the room with me?

So I have an Appointment today at the Gynecologist. But I’m only 15 years old. Would my mom be in the room with me? Or Would she wait in the other room?

When I was underage I was able to choose, I just had her sit out in the waiting room.

Pretty sure you’ll have the choice. My mom already knew I was sexually active when we went for my first visit so I opted to keep her in the room with me for comfort reasons.

my mom asked me if I wanted her in with me, I was shy at the time and so I said yes cause talking to doctors alone scared the shit out a me. but when in there the doctor would ask me basic questions then would tell me she had more personal questions and if I wanted my mom to be there or leave the room. at that time i would ask my mom to go because i would die if she knew what i was doing at that age 😅😅 my mom took no offence

You’ll probably get to choose but the doctor may ask a staff member to step in to the room for your protection.
